Few of my friends and I are planning our trip to Alaska. One of the places we want to visit is Fairbanks, and we were wondering if someone can help us get around there, since we have never been there. How much the accommodation costs in Fairbanks, Alaska? Any recommendations for some nice hotel? Thanks.

That depends on what kind of accommodation you want, obviously. I guess some mid range price would be 70 to 120 dollars per person per night in smaller hotels. I guess you could even find something cheaper, but I wouldn’t recommend it too much. Better pay few extra dollars then let bad hotel ruin your vacation.

You can get a room even for 50 or 60 dollars in those small motels, there are plenty of them in Fairbanks. It depends on what you are interested. You will get a bed and a clean room there, perhaps few basic amenities, but that’s it. If you want something more, it will cost you, as everywhere else.

I don’t know if that’s your cup of tea, but there’s a nice hostel in Fairbanks. It charges 35 dollars for a bed, and that is the cheapest accommodation available in Fairbanks. Other then that, you are left with classic motels, which can cost anywhere between 50 and 200 dollars.

Glacier House

Great place to stage your Alaskan adventure! Located on the east side of town convenient to all shopping, restaurants, banks. Walk to the Chena River. Easy hiking/biking trails.
