Accommodation resort in Patong

Hello! I am preparing a trip to Patong. I am interested in accommodation resort. I heard that there is Holiday Inn. I've never been there, so I'd be grateful if you can recommend me other resorts. And which do you prefer? Ive stayed in Holiday Inn in some other destinations. Thanks!

I think that you must book Holiday Inn far ahead, but there are more great resorts. Holiday Inn is often full, because Western people are used to it. My friend recommends Baan SukhoThai that is situated on Bangla road. In that way you won't need taking taxis or other public transportation. You will be in the centre of the activities.
