Accommodation when traveling form south America to Antarctica?

I am interested in going on a cruise from South America, and travelling over to Antarctica. I know that there is a selection of options out there, but which one to choose? Is there anyone who has already done such cruise? What is the accommodation like? I would love to hear from you!

The ships that travel over from South America tend to me of the more luxurious type, and although they are small ships, they are actual cruise ships. These have a strengthened hull, but are not old Russian icebreakers as some of them indeed are. Good luck in deciding, and who knows? Perhaps you will be enjoying your trip soon.
