All-Inclusive PV Hotel?

Hi! I will stay with my wife in Melia Puerto Vallarta All Inclusive Beach Resort and I need some information about that resort from someone how was there recently. Is it true that in the pond in center of the garden there are some algae so you can sense the smell of the pond all the way inside your room? Is garden open in this season or closed?

My husband and I stayed at the Melia Puerto Vallarta g. during August while celebrating our first anniversary. The resort was very decent and good looking. The gardens are nice, full of trees and other plant life from around the world. Although the coi pond was full of algae in some areas, we did not notice a smell that some have complained about. If you want adventures vacation, this is not a place for that. this is quiet and decent resort!
