Amazing ruins in Tikal National Park in Guatemala

Tikal is a world-famous monument. I haven’t been there but I read a lot about it. Everyone who is interested in archeology, must see it. Without Tikal, don’t think you saw too much of the archeological sites. Long time ago, while Maya civilization was in progress, Tikal stood for a some sort of cultural center. This monument did not always belong to the Maya people. There were some attempts to conquer it by many enemies and some of them succeeded in it. There are many emblems that can tell you the story of the Maya, but make sure you can understand them.

You should be impatient because what you can see in Tikal National Park is really amazing. It contains so many traces of the Maya tribe. Their civilization was reflected in their works and aircrafts, many of which have been left behind. The descendants of these people can be found in many countries of South America. They differ from each other not only physically but in the way they dress and in some customs. Tikal is said to be the largest of all Maya ruins. It is really remarkable. It got the status of World Heritage and is protected by UNESCO.
