Any Mayan sites near Tulum beach?

Hello,
a couple of friends of mine and I have been thinking of taking a trip to Tulum in a couple of weeks. We would really like to know is there any kind of Mayan site near Tulum Beach? Have anyone stayed there before? Can we get some info on this? Thanks a lot in advance. bye

some friends of mine and I have been traveling through the Mexico last summer and we had the best time there. We went to Tulum for almost 10 days and it was amazing experience. The beach in the beautiful and the place is also known for Mayan sites. We some a couple of them and they were beautiful. Have a nice time there. Bye

you are right. My boyfriend and I have taken a trip to Mexico a couple of months ago and it was really amazing... Tulum has many great Mayan sites like for example the temple against Caribbean Sea, than the one at Catherwood, which is near to Tulum. That temple was really creepy, we loved it ta lot. Have a nice time there. Bye
