Anyone been to Senegal?

Hello. I‘ve recently decided to go visit Senegal, because I‘ve always had some strange fascination for this country. But than, a friend started convincing me that such a travel would be a waste of time and money, because the country doesn’t really have that much to offer. And now I have serious doubts  Has anyone been there? Many thanks

Hey there. Unfortunately, I must say your friend was right and you better find some other destination to be fascinated about. I am serious. Of course, there is always something interesting to see wherever you go to, but you better go somewhere else  what I am telling you is from my personal experience, because I was in Senegal two years ago, and was very disappointed. I mean, the nature is beautiful, and those National Parks are worth seeing…But, can you believe me I was not lucky enough to even see a baboon?!? If you have such a fascination for this country, do visit it, but make it is just a passing through location, not a main destination of your vacation.
