Anyone with experience with Residence Inn in Gainesville, FL?

I am going to Florida soon and I still havent decided where I should stay. Made some list of hotels and among them is Residence Inn in Gainesville. It belongs to a Marriott, right? I mean I never been in any universally known hotel so I thought to give it a try. Should I?

Well it does belong, but what I have heard from a friend of mine it is more likely one of the worst ones. Rooms are over packed, meaning small stuffed with furniture. Mattresses and bedding should be changed more often. Maybe it is a bit out of the city so it supposes to be quieter place for staying but he was not getting much sleep in his room. I guess maybe you should try some other one from your list.
