Are Apartments in Rio safe?

Are Apartments in Rio safe? I have heard some really disturbing things. I even heard that tourist are there favorite target of local criminals. IS there some way to protect yourself? Now I am a little bit considered about that whole thing. I don’t know what to do. Please advice me and suggest me about this topic.

You are really funny person. Do you think that there is some place where you are safe from criminals and opportunists? That is the problem with this modern age. Sometimes is much easier to still than to work proper job. And some people don’t have other option. I don’t know, and that is not my business. But that is the important thing, in this moment. It is always good to be careful. Three is always possibility for someone to see you as a target. The real jungle is now in towns. But don’t be too careful. If you are watching your back all the time, you will not have time to have fun. And than what is the point of vacation?!
