Arriving in Khasab

I want an unusual holiday. Thats why I picked Khasab for my destination. All I know is that it has wonderful beaches and perfectly still waters. Can you tell me something about the potential accommodation because I plan to rent a hotel room upon my arrival there? Is it too crowded? Everybody tells me to book it in advance, but I wondering whether Ill like it. If not, I can just pick up my baggage and go somewhere else.

Khasab is a little place in Oman. Its famous after what youve already mentioned its crystal clear and still waters. These waters are considered excellent for diving, and many people come for that purpose. Unfortunately its also famous or, shall I say, notorious for smuggling. But thats not important to you. Beaches are nice and if you like a bit isolated and quiet seaside resorts, this is the right place for you. There is yet another little problem: Khasab has only one hotel Golden Tulip Khasab hotel resort, and it sometimes gets crowded, so there is a possibility that you wont be able to find a room. There are 60 rooms in the hotel, which is, you must admit, not a great number.
