Beaches in Monteevideo?

I can openly say for myself that I am a citizen of the world. I have traveled all my life and still I want to get more and more fun. In the last two years I was traveling and searching for the locations that are not so common. I have seen majority of South America but I still havent visited Uruquay. I have heard that in their capital there is a month long Carnival. I need just your opinion about beaches in Monteevideo?

According to some researches Montevideo has the best quality of life in South America so I am sure that you will be satisfied with this place. It is a main port in this country. Beaches are wonderful. You should see Pocitos, Buceo, Playa Verde, Carrasco, Malvin and others. Like in Rio you have a promenade by the seaside which has a great architecture. Some people find it boring but I think it is really something very you can rest and enjoy. 45 km east from Montevideo you have Atlantida resort with great beaches and name itself is promising. If the kilometers of sandy beaches that are open for everyone is something you very expecting you will be more that happy. Watch out of the temperature.

Montevideo beach: Ramirez

When visiting Montevideo you might be able to find several different beaches during a walk at the rambla. Starting from the old city towards the east, one of the first beaches you would find is the Ramirez beach. This Montevideo beach has the peculiarity of being in front of the Parque Rodo, the main amusement park of Uruguay.

Montevideo beach: Pocitos

Pocitos is one of the most popular beaches of Montevideo. This beach is surrounded by high buildings and a very active urban area. During summer time, this is one of the beaches that becomes more crowded, whether it is for sunbathing, playing beach sports, or simply drinking mate with friends.
