Best diving location in Tahiti

Hi! My two friends and I have agreed to go on vacation to Tahiti together this spring. We managed to get ten days off, and with the flying included we will spend about a week on Tahiti. I am now looking for some personal experience from someone who has been there. If you could tell me what the best diving location is, that would make me really happy! Because diving is a real must on Tahiti, and we want to get the very best!

Hi to you too! We stayed in Moorea during our holiday to Tahiti last summer. That's also where we went diving and I was certainly very impressed. We had a great scuba instructor and even got the chance to see a shark! I think that Moorea is the best tourist place on Tahiti overall, anyway.

There are many exciting places for diving around the Tahitian islands, and I couldn't tell you that one is better than the other. If you had the chance, then I would advise you to get a diving package and to go for different locations. But sadly, diving is very expensive!
