Boozing in Yemen

Hello. I have finished my high school recently. I want to travel little, before I hit the college. I and my two friends want to take a trip to Middle East. Among the other countries, we plan to visit Yemen too. Ive heard that drink is not allowed there. Is that true?

Hi. This is partial true. You probably know that Yemen is strict Muslim country. And like in other countries you have here restaurants where you can take a drink. Just ask taxi drivers to direct you to some Chinese or Korean restaurants. There are some hotels with bar where you can take a drink. But, you can also bring a bottle in. It is allowed to bring one bottle with you. Hope you will have a nice time. Cheers.
