Can I fly to Comoros from Europe?

Can I fly to Comoros from Europe? I will spend my vacation in France and Italy, but I have heard that this island country is very interesting and I have decided to spend a couple of days there. But I have no idea whether it is accessible or not. Do you happen to know something about the transportation there?

The Comoros are an island country located near Madagascar and Mozambique. This means that you can first fly to either of the two countries from Europe and from there catch a flight to this small island. Still, since this is not one of the most attractive and desired destinations in the world, you should check the air schedules as there are flight only once or twice a week. I also have a very vague idea that some of the French airlines used to fly to the Comoros, but I really don’t know whether there is still this flight. I think that this country is a bit isolated and that it there is not much to see there. Of course, this is maybe only my prejudice speaking.
