Can I hire camel in Timbuktu, Mali?

a couple of friends of mine and I have been planning a trip to Timbuktu, Mali in a couple of months with some friends of mine and I was wondering can I hire camel while there? Thanks a lot in advance for any kind of suggestion or info on this, we really appreciate it. Bye

some friends of mine and I have just got back from Timbuktu, Mali and it was a really interesting trip. We stayed there for almost 2 weeks and we had the best time ever. We enjoyed so much and we tried to ride the camel. I have heard that you can hire one, but we didn't need it.

Hi, I know what you mean, but when a couple of friends of mine and I visited Timbuktu last summer we took a trip on camels that we hired. There were a couple of guides with us and it was really amazing experience and fantastic ride. I am sure you will like it if you decided to try it. Bye
