Celebrating New Year in Rio?

I am not so sure that going in Brazil in winter is such a smart idea, but I just cannot argue with her anymore. So, celebrating New Year in Rio is her idea of course, and all I have to think about is paying - of course. So, what are your opinions? Will we have the great time or what?

I think you will agree with me that celebrating New Year is generally a fun thing, and when that happens in the place known for being great, if not the best, in festivals, I guess you have nothing to worry about, just relax and try to listen to your girlfriend more. I havent been there myself in that period, but had the opportunity to look at some pictures and I have to say go!
