Cheap bungalows near Manly Beach

Someone told me that there are cheap bungalows available for hire near Manly Beach, Sydney. I know that there are some Australians around here on the forum, and that many people have been to Manly Beach. Could anyone please give me some more information about that? Thank you in advance.

There is a local company that is called Manly Paradise, which I know rents out some very nice beach front bungalows and apartments. I would hardly say that they are especially cheap though. I mean, I have never stayed with them myself, but they look fantastic and it is impossible they are cheap.

Cheap hostels - yes. Cheap bungalows - no. And anyway, your choice of actually staying in Manly is a bit of a surprise to me. I think most people go there as a day trip, or perhaps for a weekend if they are from Sydney. But I would want to explore the city, and not be tied to ferry services all the time!
