Cottage or a hotel in Bawley Point?

I and my wife are going to Australia in three weeks. We are planning to enjoy ourselves in several places and Bawley Point is one of them. We are not sure about the accommodation there. What would you choose; cottage or a hotel in Bawley Point? Money is not the issue.

If you ask my friend, he will always choose a cottage. He likes to be independent and set the things in his own way. There are some really nice cottages there. On the other hand, I have spoiled myself and would always choose some of the nice hotels in Bawley Point.
