Day trips from Amsterdam?

Amsterdam is a very nice city, but after two weeks you get a desire to go somewhere else. I have been free for two weeks and I think I have passed by every street in Amsterdam at least once. Now I want some changes in scenery. Day trips from Amsterdam? Do you know of any and where do they lead to?

I am surprised we havent heard from you before. Two weeks in Amsterdam and you havent check out near by cities, I think that is a record. If you decide to go on a day trip, use train. They are the best transportation you can get and they are not expensive. I would suggest to you to go to Zandvoort the place with the best beaches in Netherlands. The place you should visit is Utrecht, and not just because of the historical significance. It has great architecture and many outdoor cafs. Try to find time for Rotterdam because that city was built after World War II, after it had been completely ruined.
