Desert castles in Jordan have interesting architecture

I am about to travel to Jordan and there is so much I plan to see there. I am traveling alone and that’s how I like to travel. I like to be absorbed by the beauties of the place and I don’t like anyone to distract my attention. I also like to take pictures of the places and it needs concentration to make a good picture. Can you tell me something about desert castles in Jordan? I heard they have interesting architecture.

I am thinking of traveling alone next time seriously. Desert castles of Jordan are very popular and one of its landmarks. The castles are scattered all around the desert and they were built by the first settlers with whom the Arab civilization began. They had many functions. They, among other things, were used as retreats for the princes and aristocrats. Their architecture is really interesting. They are simple but lovely.

I like the Desert castles and I like to travel alone, just like you. When I travel with someone, it’s not a vacation to me. I even don’t like meeting people except for some artificial contact. As for the Desert castles, they represent one of the most beautiful site of Jordan. Today, it is much easier to come to the castles than it used to be in the past. Today, the roads leading to the castles are paved and the castles are included in side-trips from nearby settlements, Amman in the first place. I saw them but I didn’t enter them. People say that their walls are painted.
