Does France have any stake in Air France?

Just wondering I was browsing flights on Expedia and saw goods rates for Air France (not to France, just passing through). What is this airline like? Is is privately owned completely or does the French government have a stake in Air France? Is it still a profitable airline? It doesn't matter if no one knows, I am just curious.

Air France was the national airline of France until recently, owned by the French government. However in the not too distant past it has merged with the Dutch airline KLM, creating a new company. The new airline is based in Paris, also the brand names KLM and Air France still exist and operate semi independently.
