Dominicana - not expensive heaven

Hey people! Ever since I remember I have always wanted to visit one of those sunny, exotic countries in the Caribbean, for example. But the main obstacle has always been, of course, money. But when I have browsed through some brochures I have discovered that Dominican Republic is not only a heaven, but it is an inexpensive heaven. Is that possible?

I think that it is possible. I know that many people go to Dominican Republic because of its wonderful beaches and fluorescent blue sea. Some people from certain countries even go to Dominicana in order to get a job there. It is a great country, but there is only one problem – high crime rates. I wouldn’t like to sound paranoid and discouraging, but the fact is that there are certain parts of its capital which are very dangerous. I don’t know whether tourists are in jeopardy or they can just be the victims of petty crime and pick-pocketing. You should check on the web site of your country’s foreign affair department whether there are certain recommendations in relation to visiting this country.
