Oh I am about to have a trip through Europe, and preparing myself to be confused with driving customs. Every time I am hearing the same explaining - sides for European customs, somehow that info always finds the way to sneak out" from my mind, dont like being captured there. Am I the only one who finds their driving customs confusing?

Dont you think that in general driving on the left/right hand side of the road was confusing and caused that fuss? I think the same thing about languages, like life in general isnt complicated enough so we humans decided to spice it up with new complications and boundaries. I know people are being lost and debating about what side of the road to drive when they are passing from left hand country to right hand one, or other way around. Making pointless dilemma, you are stopping on the customs for inspection, came driving on the right side keep on driving on the left after your stop. If you took the wrong side, someone on the customs will warn you. I know for most of the US tourists, drivers passing them as speedy bullets and roundabouts in Europe could come on their another traumatic experience list.
