Good evening, people. I am currently in Melbourne. I admit that I havent expected to be fascinated by Australia like I am. It is really amazing country. In a few days Ill be heading to Sidney. The folks told me that it would be best to cross this rout driving. Would you agree with this? Id like to hear some opinions.

Hi, there. Well they told you very good thing. The best way to see Australian nature is to drive from Melbourne to Sidney. Youll see wildlife and national parks. You can stop wherever you want to see something if it interests you. I suggest you to visit Lakes Entrance and Batemans Bay. Also dont miss Merimbula. Im sure youll like Australia even more after this journey. Have agreat time. Bye!

It is approximately 900km and would take about 10 hours if you did not stop for site-seeing etc. That would be driving inland on the Hume Highway (though Albury -Wadonga). If you go along the coast road it would take a fair bit longer. The coast road (The Princes Highway) is more like 1200km.
