Driving from Orlando to Tampa!

I am going to Orlando to visit some friends of mine who are living there. I will spend couple days there and then I am thinking to maybe get in a car and drive to Tampa. Has anyone tried this already? What can I see on a way? Any post about your experience during this drive tour is welcomed.

I dont think you have much to see there, I mean during the ride, mostly because it takes only an hour if you go from the Orlando to Tampa by highway, heh. But I guess could suggest you few things in case you did the usual tour in Orlando. By this I mean seeing Walt Disney World, Universal Studio, Discovery Cave, SeaWorld and Epcot Center at least. If you are animal lover in Orlando you could see in Tampa their Lowry Park Zoo or Florida Aquarium. I guess museums are in order; museum of art and museum of science are interesting to be seen. I somehow both towns, Orlando and Tampa find as great destinations for the family vacation considering the fact that they are just being full of theme parks.

About an hour and a half, or so if the traffic is good.
