Hi! I have a gigantic problem with traveling this summer. My boyfriend left me here in Switzerland because his sister is about to give birth to hers first son. He told me that we should get together in Florence and then we can go on with our vacation plan, after that birth day. So I have to travel to Florence with his car by myself! Can you help me with some directions?

The best way is to go from wherever you are in Switzerland go to Locarno. From Locarno use road E43 and then go straight to Varesse. From then use the same E35 road then go thru Monza, Milano, Piacenza, Modena and Bologna. From Bologna go southern to Florence, but be aware that around big cities you can get in a traffic jam and you may be stacked for hours. This trips should take about four hours if you dont go over maximum speed for this road.
