Driving through Peloponnese

I have been to Greece several times now and have fallen in love with the culture. Next time I will go there, I think that driving through the Peloponnese region will make a nice change from the other places I have visited. From the pictures I have seen it is very stunning and impressive. Has anyone here done something like that already and could you please give me some tips?

Absolutely bliss. No tourists, which is pretty important in my opinion as it allows you to get a real idea of what the place is like. Nafplio has very nice buildings, which is to be expected for a town which was the very first Greek capital! And there are many other historical sites here, more than you can visit in an average holiday period. Go for it, I would say!
