Fishing in Queenstown, NZ

a couple of friends of mine and I have been planning to take a trip to New Zealand in a couple of weeks and we would like to stay in Queenstown there. Does anyone know is it allowed to go fishing there? Thanks a lot in advance for your help. Bye

Everyone goes fishing in New Zealand, so I am sure that you will find a lot of places to go fishing even without a license. Have a great stay there. Bye
