Flights from Yangoon to Dhaka?

Hello. I live in Yangoon my whole life. I decided to go and visit my relatives in Dhaka. The trip is long, and it is better to go wit plane. I dont know are direct flights from Yangoon to Dhaka. I heard that I will have to go to Bangkok, and from the Bangkok to Dhaka. Any help is welcomed. Thank you.

Yes, that is true. As far as I know there arent direct connection between Yangon and Dhaka. And it is the problem for some time, because that way the trip is longer. Why to make trip longer when there is no need for that. For some time there was direct connection Yangon-Dhaka by Biman, but it is closed now. I think it is but Im not sure. So, the only way is to make stop to the Bangkok. I think that direct connection would be cheaper. But, when there is not alternative, what can YOU do?! I can only wish you good trip.
