Getting a cab from Brasilia Airport?

I would like to know if it is expensive to get a cab from Brasilia airport or not?
My plane will land there and I will have to get to the city center from there, so, since I have never been in Brasilia before, and I know nothing about the prices there, I am thinking, if it is not expensive, to go there that way, and if it is, to find a bus or some other way.

No, it is the most convenient way to get into the city from the airport. It is expensive for their ordinary people, but it is the most practice solution for those who are there for the first time. You have a cheaper solution, getting there by bus, but I wouldnt recommend it in this case.

Taxis are relatively expensive in Brasilia and usually cannot be hailed on the streets. Taxi stands, however, are close to all tourist attractions and any hotel will be able to call a cab or provide the phone number of the best known dispatch offices.

All taxis must have taximeters and can start charging only after the passenger has boarded.
