Have you seen a sunset in Ciudad Juarez?

Good day! I have been backpacking and my next destination will be Ciudad Jurez in Mexico. I am looking forward to seeing the sunset here. It will be different from Australia I guess. Has anyone here seen the sun set here, and what did you think? Overall did you like the city? I wonder what kind of answers I will get. Thanks everyone!

Hi. I have been to Ciudad Jurez and loved the culture. However when I was there I went with a group, and although I loved Mexico in general I think you have to be careful on your own. Ciudad Jurez is very interesting but has a lot of slums and poverty. It really is a different kind of world. Lots of young women just disappear each year, so be careful not to stroll away from the main areas Take someone with you if at all possible. It is not without risk.
