Having to reach Huaraz from Lima

I have been planning to go on a holiday this summer. It seems to me that it is a good idea to go to Peru. It seems like a really good and attractive choice. However, as I have never been there before, I would like to go to several places and one of the towns I want to go from Lima is Huaraz. However, I am not sure just how to do that so any advice would be useful. Thanks in advance.

Peru is indeed one very interesting country and I agree with your choice. Same agreement goes for the town of Huaraz. It is very interesting place and I am sure you will enjoy. However, the trip is not too easy. The distance is a little over 400km and the only way to go there is by bus, as no planes fly there. Fortunately, there are many buses going from one place to the other and it cost only up to 10$, which is really cheap. It will need around 7 hours to get there, but you will at least get to know and see this wonderful country in greater detail. Enjoy the trip!
