Hiking in Utah without snow blindness protection?

When it comes to Utah and snow hiking in this state, is it recommended to always take care about the snow blindness protection, or not always? I am planning a week hiking trip with my two friends, and they do not seem to care much about this kind of protection, while I think that it is not so negligible.

Well, don’t get me wrong, but maybe the right protection from snow blindness is something that your friends don’t even question, so they don’t find it necessary to talk about it especially. You, on the other side, make sure you have all you need, because there is no point to even start the whole trip without it.

I am sure that everyone will tell you that wherever there is snow, if you plan to enjoy hiking, then the appropriate snow blindness protection is absolutely necessary. I mean, it is not at all pleasant to have to go through such an experience, so my advice would be not to put yourselves at risk.

If your friends have any experience with hiking in snow, then there is no way that they can act to indifferently when it comes to something as serious as snow blindness is. So, either you make sure that all of you are well informed before going on that holiday or trip or whatever, or do not go at all.
