Hiking in the Berkshire Hills, Massachusetts

My husband and I would like to see various places in Massachusetts. He will meet some business associates there and after a day or two of business deals he will be free to spend the rest of our time with me. I read some magazines and saw nice pictures of Berkshire Hills. Is there any possibility of hiking in the Berkshire Hills, Massachusetts?

There are some wonderful tours that will enable you to enjoy hiking in the Berkshire Hills for days. The tour lasts six days and the size of the group is perfect – 4-9 people. The accommodation is at nice inns and B&Bs like Race Brook Lodge. Nice local restaurants provide tasty meals.

My wife went on such tour last year. We were really satisfied. The nature is absolutely wonderful. I know that it may sound strange, but we haven’t had such fun in many years. We visited many nice classic villages (Stockbridge, Great Barrington, Lenox, etc.). Country lanes are very nice and I also suggest you try rail-trail above the water stream.

I always enjoy hiking and I must say that no other kind of transportation or sightseeing beats it. I mean, if you drive a car, you are going too fast to see all the interesting things. Moreover, hiking is a good way to stay in touch with the nature, breathe fresh air and communicate with other people.
