Has anyone think about hiking in the Swiss Alps? I am thinking of spending my holidays there, with few of my friends. We have never went hiking anywhere, so we want the first time to be as good as possible. What are the hiking options in the Swiss Alps? I will appreciate any advice on when or where to go, as well as dos and don’t-s?

Hello. I think the Swiss Alps are the best option for such a vacation. I went hiking there last year, and we’ve been in two most beautiful regions - Bernese Oberland and Engadine Valley. The holiday was the perfect combination of activity and enjoyment, which is my and my friends’ opinion also. We have visited wonderful alpine rambles and deepest valleys, as well as breathtaking glaciers. We have also visited towering Monch, Eiger, and Jungfrau massifs. Than in Engadine Valley we hiked in fascinating world of cobalt blue lakes. All the hotels we stayed at were fantastic. Anyway, I think you and your friends have no reason to hesitate. All the best
