Hotel Eremo Gaudio in Varenna

Hi! One of my friends got back from Italy last year with most amazing pictures I have ever seen in someones traveler album! Lake Como is dream come true for my family! So I decided to buy us two weeks in Grand Hotel Cadenabbia. But I heard that hotel is not so good as my friend said it was. What is the real situation with this hotel, regular or good?

If this hotel had been located anywhere else but on the shores of Lake Como, almost no one would have come there. This hotel offers only regular stuff, nothing special or extra. The views are a big part of the experience and located as it is high on the hill, the scenery every way you turn really is jaw dropping. If you looking for great service and room service in a middle of the night, try to find something better.
