How do I get from Gatwick to Heathrow?

What to do? Im flying from Chicago to London and My plane lands at Gatwick. After that, within few hours time, I must somehow get to Heathrow where Im supposed to meet my wife and catch our flight to Bali. Whats the best and fastest way to get from Gatwick to Heathrow? I have to mention that I have too much baggage.

Ouch! It is complicated situation but not impossible to solve. Actually, you have several options. The Tube doesnt cover this particular distance, but now that youve mentioned that you have excess baggage, it wouldnt be a good idea anyway. The distance between those two locations is approximately 45 miles, which means that you can be at Heathrow about an hour after you arrived at Gatwick. Thats why I suggest you to get a taxi and have a comfortable journey. You can even book a cab in advance! There are coaches that also cover this tour but I still think theyre appropriate for someone whos not in such a hurry and has considerably less luggage. So, the problem solved. Have a safe journey.
