Hi! I'm going to Charleston, South Carolina. I don't know if there is a high season for a place like that (it is probably good to travel to year-round), but I'd like to visit it when the accommodation prices are not so high. I plan to go in late September and I don't know what prices to expect. How expensive is private accommodation in Charleston?

Hi! I don't know what to say for the prices in Charleston. They are neither expensive nor cheap. Charleston accommodation is affordable, maybe that's the right word. The hotel owners keep average prices. Charleston is very nice in early autumn and I hope you'll really like it. There are plenty of inns and private houses you can stay at. Some of them offer bed and breakfast only while others are meant to be small pensions. I can recommend you a few places you can stay at, whose prices, I think, are not very high. You can stay at 1837 Bed and Breakfast, Rutledge Victorian Guest House or King George IV Inn.
