How far is Ski Apache from nearest town?

What I would like to hear is how far Ski Apache area is from the nearest town, because I am thinking of spending a week long winter holiday there since I have heard that there are great conditions for skiing and snowboarding, and that the prices are not too high. But the fact is that I don’t know anything else about it except that it is somewhere in New Mexico.

Well, I suppose that the nearest town is this mountain town Ruidoso, but if you want to know about a bigger one, then it is Albuquerque, which is some three hours away from the Ski Apache area. As for the skiing conditions, they are great indeed, and I am sure you will not regret if you go there.

I have never been to Ski Apache area, but I have a few friends who have been there, and all of them say that it is one of the most charming ski resorts that they have ever been to. What I know is that it is some 3 or 4 hours away from Albuquerque. The nearest small town is Ruidoso.

I did go once to Ski Apache Area but it was a long time ago, and even then it was really a great skiing destination. I suppose that today it can only be better. As for the nearby town, it is Ruidoso, something between a mountain town and a village, but you will find there everything you need.
