How far is Yosemite from Los Angeles? My boyfriend wants us to go there while were on our two-week vacation in California and Im not happy about that idea. It would be better if we visited only LA and SF this time. I must admit that Im not into scouting and that camping and similar activities give me the creeps. Dont you think it would be an exhausting adventure?

I understand that youre not quite an adventurer, but Yosemite National Park is worth seeing. You dont have to camp or hike, but just do the sightseeing. This, of course, means that there are hotels and lodging facilities in Yosemite. Many people think that national parks are something like safari and big game hunting, but theyre wrong. Its more like a naturally designed Disneyland. It would be a shame to stay for two weeks California and not see Yosemites glaciers and numerous waterfalls. I know the fact that its a six-hour drive from LA sounds like eternity, especially if youre already reluctant to go, but give it a try. You wont regret it.

Well, tolerance is the most important part of the relationship. This time you can go to Yosemite with your boyfriend, and I am sure it will make you worth while for going his way and next time it will definitely be your choice and maybe even better than that.

I've stayed at the Yosemite Lodge and the cabins at Camp Curry during the winter. Camp Curry has an ice skate rink which is fun, but you can take the shuttle from anywhere in the valley.

Thanks
