Hello, guys. My boyfriend is obsessed with going to Mexico for our holiday. He wants to explore ancient ruins there. I am not much interested in that, I must admit. How much fun can it be? I will gladly hear out your impressions, but please, be sincere. Thanks in advance for that.

Hello, there. It all depends on your interests. I find these ancient ruins very interesting. I visited last year Palanque. It is one of the most interesting sites of Mayan civilization. I rented a car in nearby San Cristobal. It is the nearest town. The architecture of the temples there is exceptional. These places have been studies for decades by scientists and archeologists. I think that traveling isn’t just having fun. It is also learning about other people, places, civilizations, history… But if you are not into that, perhaps it would be better for you not to go.
