How safe is it to rent a car in Israel?

I am going on a business trip to Israel. The main location will be Tel Aviv but I will have to travel around, so car rental will be a must. I know about the Israeli-Palestinian crisis but not too much, so Im wondering how safe it is to rent a car there. Will I have any trouble since Im a foreign citizen? Thanks.

Hello pal! Its such a pity that nowadays people have concerns about whether they will be safe in a certain country! Israel is in a conflict, but people lead normal lives there. They work, travel, go to beach, just like anywhere else. The tension increases sometimes and, yes, there are suicide bombers and occasional terrorist attacks, but as we can see that happens all around the globe. I see no reason why it shouldnt be safe to rent a car in Israel. The fact that youre a foreign citizen is also irrelevant and I think you should just relax a little bit and stop thinking that something bad is going to happen.
