How to come to Santa Fe National Forest from nearest airport?

Is there anyone who could tell me how to come to Santa Fe National Forest from the nearest airport, and which would be the easiest way for that? I live in Canada, and the quickest way to get to Santa Fe is to fly, but I am not sure what to do then…

Well, the nearest major airport to Santa Fe National Forest is definitely the one in Albuquerque, but I am really not sure what the exact distance between these two locations is. If you want to find that out, then you might want to check it out on the internet, for example.

If I am right, then the nearest airport to Santa Fe National Forest should be the one in Albuquerque, and since Santa Fe National Forest is one of the greatest attractions for tourists in this area, there should be bus connections on this route, so it might be the best way to get there.

I know for sure that the closest airport is the international airport in Albuquerque, which is some 100 km away. When I went on a holiday to Santa Fe, I simply stayed in a hotel in this city, rented a car there, and drove to Santa Fe National Forest one weekend by myself. I am not sure if it is the easiest way to get there, but it surely was the easiest way for me.
