How to get to Saugerties from New York City?

Is there somebody who could find some time and patience for me to explain to me how to get to Saugerties from New York City? I would so much like to go there this time when I go to NYC, because every time before it was always the same story – either there would be something more important, or something would suddenly come up… this time I will go alone, and I hope that nothing will come up.

Well, I am not 100 % sure in which ways one can get to Saugerties from New York City, but if it means anything to you , it is not at all far away from the city, because the distance is some 9 or 10 miles only. Given the distance, I suppose that there should even be bus connection.

I am really not sure. When I wanted to visit Saugerties, I was in New York City with my own car, so I had no problems with getting there. Maybe you should hire a taxi to get you there, since the distance is not at all huge – less than 20 km anyway.

I want to visit Saugerties and the Lighthouse Conservancy as well for such a long time, and I really hope I will do that this summer. It would mean a lot to me as well to hear which would be the easiest way to get there from New York City, since I will be there anyway.
