How to get to Tasmania from Melbourne?

Hi, Im returning to Australia this month and I plan to do the coastal route this time (since I done the East coast all ready). I wanna start in Sidney then go to Melbourne by the coastal road, all the way to Tasmania and return either to Adelaide or Melbourne and continue the coastal journey to Adelaide. Should I fly from Melbourne to Tasmania and back to Melbourne again or just fly Tasmania to Adelaide? I wanna drive the road to see the 12 Aposles, but Im not sure is it worth driving all the way?

Yes, you should definitely drive the whole road, its worth doing it! The Great Ocean Drive is a MUST DO! Its considered one of the best drives in the world. But my suggestion to your itinerary would be to reverse it (Im not quite sure where you gonna fly from). Fly into Adelaide and drive the GOR to Melbourne, then fly to Hobart, return to Melbourne and then drive the coastal all the way to Sydney.
