How to go from Costa Rica to Honduras?

Hello, guys. I will be next week in Central America. My staying in Costa Rica is because of business reasons, but I have several friends staying in Honduras. Therefore, after I finish business, I would like to see my friends. I would like to hear your suggestions how to go from Costa Rica to Honduras. Thanks in advance.

Hi, there. I have been in Central America before and maybe I could help you a bit. You can take a plain if you want to reach there fast. In Costa Rica there are Juan Santamara Airport and Daniel Oduber Quirs International Airport. The first one is closer to San Jose and the second one is closest to Liberia. In Honduras there are three major international airports. Those are San Pedro Sula, Roatan and Tegucigalpa. You can also go there by car. However, you should know that the roads in Costa Rica and Honduras arent in so good condition. Of course, between these two countries you should cross Nicaragua. I am not sure about bus or train transportation between these two countries since I havent used them before. Safe trip!
