IS it expensive to rent a car in Paris?

Hi! I will spend a little bit more then two week on family vacation in Paris. My wife and I were planning to rent a car and explore the surrounding city area as well on our own. I need help concerning car rental prices. We would like some small convenient city car. Is car rental in Paris expensive?

Hi! Well, as you can guess, price depends of the type you rent. You can find some really cheap options if you need small city car. Try Interrent, they are reliable and professional. You can find several options for less then ten euros per day, its only you have to book early i.e. the earlier you book, the smaller the price. Driving around Paris is a nightmare and parking is extremely difficult and very expensive. The public transport is cheap. Métro stations are all close to one another and also enable you to reach main sites extremely quickly. You can either buy a "carnet" (ten tickets) or if you are staying for two days or more it is worthwhile getting a Paris pass that give you free and priority entry in most museums, art galleries and sites, and enables you to travel on any public mean of transport in the central area of Paris.
