I Got Mixed Reviews On Morton's!?!

Some of my friends are visiting me for the first time since I moved to Chicago. I still do not know all the restaurants, but for a while I was thinking of taking them out to Mortons. However, when I asked some people, they told me conflicting things. Some of them liked it, some did not. Can anyone share some experience of its own with me?

Mortons is really a steakhouse. It is located in a basement of a building, so outwards it is not exactly the fanciest place there is. However, they have good meals, especially steaks. Deserts are also nice, as well as their wines. It is somewhat peaceful place, and if you take them there you will not regret. However, it is not that there is no better place in Chicago. There are several other steakhouses that offer even better food and quality overall, for the same, or even smaller price. If the location suits you, it is quite all right, but dont travel to other side of town for Mortons
