Hey there! This site is great and I found some things I’ve read here very helpful. I hope someone here will help me solve my dilemma. Since I am going to Casablanca, Morocco, I need a few tips concerning their food. It’s not that I don’t like their food, but I simply can’t afford eating at restaurants every single day. I wonder if it is recommendable to buy food ion market in Old Medina in Casablanca.

Hi! I don’t know why you chose to ask a question about this particular market. Someone must have mentioned it to you. Either as a very good or a very bad one. Probably as a very bad one. Food bought at the market is generally not recommendable because of its origin in the first place. You don’t know where it came from. Besides, the conditions in which that food is kept are not always perfect. The hygiene of such places is very often in question. That’s why I don’t recommend buying food there although many people do it because of low prices. If you decide to buy food on the market, make sure those are not dairy products or meat.
