Hello! I will go for skiing weekend to Medicine Mountains in Wyoming. I have checked the prices for the hotels in the ski resort and it seems that they are either booked or very expensive. That is why I have decided to opt for a cheaper solution and to settle down in Laramie. I have found a nice hotel there but I could not find fees for it on line. Is it too expensive to spend a night in American Inn Laramie? John.

Well, it depends. I do not know what do you consider as too expensive. The American Inn hotel is great. It really clean most probably because it is new. The room I was staying in was very large, equipped with showers, big lcd tvs and very comfortable beds. I did not have any problems with the service so I can give a plus for them too. The breakfast was included in the price per day. Always hot and ready to go coffee. You will also find scrambled eggs and waffles every morning. The price for a single room was 65 dollars. You check with yourself whether that is too much.

The American Inn in Laramie is a great choice. I have picked the hotel on the suggestion of one of my friend. The location of the hotel is great thought you cannot miss much with that since the whole town is really small. The hotel lobby and the rooms are very clean and spacious. The stuff was very helpful and they all looked like they are enjoyed working there. In the cost/benefit outlook of the place, I strongly encourage you to stay in this hotel. You won t regret it. Sasha.

The hotel is not expensive at all in comparison to other hotels in town which are not that great. The hotel is brand new, stylish with very nice amenities. My only minus would go for in room heating. The fan in the room was very loud and turns on and off quite randomly; I was not able to silence it completely and sometimes I did spend an hour before I really fell asleep. Apart from that, everything is great. Joshua.

We stayed at Hilton Garden Inn Laramie,2229 Grand Ave, Laramie, WY 82070.

We stayed here for two days on our 10-day vacation - just to see the area. We used Hilton Honors points, so we were not charged for our stay. The staff was very friendly and offered some terrific suggestions for day trips.

The hotel is right by the University of Wyoming football stadium. Complimentary parking is right in front of the hotel. There is a conference center in the hotel. On the first night we stayed, a Sunday night, the hotel was very quiet - almost empty. The second night had tons of people. Guests appeared to be mostly building contractors who were there for a convention that must have started early, before 8 a.m. - we had the dining room to ourselves. Our breakfast was a cold buffet plus a made-to-order omelet, which was excellent.

The room was comfortable. Unfortunately, we did not realize our bed was adjustable (assuming it was) and found it too hard for our liking. I guess I missed the instructions on how to adjust it.

Nothing extraordinary but nothing to complain about here - this is a fine place to stay if you are in Laramie! I would not hesitate to book it again.
